Style Chicks was founded in 2007 by two research librarians who love the science behind beauty.
We examine the ingredients of effective skincare and hair care.
- We search peer-reviewed journals and clinical studies to evaluate if a product’s claims can be met by its’ ingredients.
- We test only one product at a time. We never test multiple products at once or use competing or conflicting products. This way we report the most accurate results.
- We thoroughly test each product for weeks to months for the true user experience. If the product says it takes 3 months to see results, we will report our experience after three months.
- We use no PR or product stock photographs. All product images are original photographs of the actual product we tested. This way you can see for yourself a product sized to scale, its’ texture, the function, design and packaging in its true form.
